COMCO
NOT

comco - NOT

NN010
Digital

Recorded live at "Demento's" in Columbus OH, Not is the sophomore follow up EP to Community College's early 2019 sleeper hit comco. There are concepts of selflessness, isolation, and fear obscured by layers of rhythmic and melodic lines. Fans will enjoy this departure from their full band sound, and usher in the next generation of experimental bedroom pop.

The Devil and a Penny Repair

NN009

The D+P boys are back after a cross country trip, lineup change, and relocation to the west coast. All that sun hasn't seemed to warm them up too much, as Repair proves to be their darkest and most introverted collection yet.

Rock and roll four piece Everything and Everyone pack the heat in their first full-length. The record ranges from surfy and jangly melodies to heavy hitting bar room anthems. It was tracked live except for vocals, which were delicately placed a few days later by front man Chris O'Toole.

Stoney, dreamy, dense. Mike Hlady delivers over 40 minutes of niche synth, old drum sounds, and weirdo samples. This collection of tunes is sure to deliver you into a realm of prisms and sages.

FLESH FOREST AND THE ELEPHANT ONLY ZOO
SCREAM DREAM

NN002
Digital Only

This is the first EP from FFATEOZ, and we're proud to be releasing it. The band is a recording side project of sorts between Mike Hlady and John Lutkevich, both of whom play in some other great Boston bands. The sound is definitely complex, mixing live recordings with samples and electronic sounds, but never overwhealming. They have pop sensibility and it shows. Digital only for now, but physical copies in the works as they start to rehearse the tunes for a live setting.

SLSF is Benjamin Yarling's brainchild. It was his main writing outlet for the duration of the time he spent in Boston though the songs usually call back to Georgia, where he spent his youth. The instrumentation is highlighted by the pan drum as well as a rotating collection of stringed instruments. The record displays incredible songwriting and simple, almost stripped-back arrangements and engineering. Numbered CDs are still available: contact brad@newneighborrecords.com
