CD, Tape, Digital
The D+P boys are back after a cross country trip,
lineup change, and relocation to the west coast. All that sun hasn't
seemed to warm them up too much, as Repair proves to be their
darkest and most introverted collection yet.
EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE
HARD TO TRY
Rock and roll four piece Everything and Everyone
pack the heat in their first full-length. The record ranges from surfy
and jangly melodies to heavy hitting bar room anthems. It was tracked
live except for vocals, which were delicately placed a few days later
by front man Chris O'Toole.
FORGET IT FOREVER
Cassette Tape, Digital
Mike Hlady is back with the latest installment in
the 420 universe.
14 FOOT 1
7" Vinyl, Digital
Two is 14 Foot 1's highliy anticipated
sophomore effort. It's the result of a two year Boston/Providence
collaboration. Spastic math rock and repetitive blasts, guitar noodling
and frantic drum bashing. Two songs on the 7" with an additional track
THE DEVIL AND A PENNY
Vinyl, Digital, CD, Handmade Tape
The third album from The Devil and a Penny sees the
boys growing up and fine tuning their unique sound. Equal parts dense
and sparse. This is our first vinyl release.
In their followup record to Love After Death,
420 Defenders continue to prove that they are the most underrated act
in New England. This time around, things get deeper and darker,
complete with a tribute track to the late Whitney Houston.
LOVE AFTER DEATH
Stoney, dreamy, dense. Mike Hlady delivers over 40
minutes of niche synth, old drum sounds, and weirdo samples. This
collection of tunes is sure to deliver you into a realm of prisms and
FLESH FOREST AND THE ELEPHANT ONLY ZOO
This is the first EP from FFATEOZ, and we're proud to be releasing it. The band is a recording side project of sorts between Mike Hlady and John Lutkevich, both of whom play in some other great Boston bands. The sound is definitely complex, mixing live recordings with samples and electronic sounds, but never overwhealming. They have pop sensibility and it shows. Digital only for now, but physical copies in the works as they start to rehearse the tunes for a live setting.

SLSF is Benjamin Yarling's brainchild. It was his main writing outlet for the duration of the time he spent in Boston though the songs usually call back to Georgia, where he spent his youth. The instrumentation is highlighted by the pan drum as well as a rotating collection of stringed instruments. The record displays incredible songwriting and simple, almost stripped-back arrangements and engineering. Numbered CDs are still available: contact firstname.lastname@example.org
